Guy is a Senior Fellow at Cass Business School in the City of London, where he teaches post-graduate modules on Private Equity and Investment Strategy as well as supervising various research projects. He is well known for his frequent media appearances and as a keynote speaker, particularly on the current sovereign debt crisis. He also provides consultancy to investors around the world, mostly on investment strategy and alternative assets. He is a veteran of the private equity industry, including having set up and run for several years the international operations of Horsley Bridge. He is the author of several books on finance and investment, most pertinently "Private Equity as an asset class" which is now in its second edition and has been translated into various languages. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Pensions and has written for many different publications including "The Independent" and "Real Deals", for whom he contributes a thought-provoking monthly column.
