Iain Purves

Lloyds Banking Group

Iain has over 20 years experience in a variety of positions including spells in the Legal department and working with High Value Clients before getting involved in Leveraged Finance in the mid ‘90s. Initially based in Edinburgh, Iain moved to London in 2000 and was latterly the Head of Leveraged Finance at Bank of Scotland with responsibility for Origination and Sponsor relationships across Europe.

Following the acquisition of HBOS and the creation of Lloyds Banking Group Iain was appointed Managing Director & Head of Business Support within Specialist Finance. The role is focussed principally on the work out of leveraged, shipping and project finance transactions.
