James Brocklebank

Advent International

James is a Managing Director at Advent International. James joined Advent in 1997, moving from the London office of investment bank Baring Brothers where he advised clients on various international mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that he worked in the New York offices of Dillon, Read & Co., then an affiliate of Barings. James led Advent’s investments in WorldPay, Equiniti (fka Lloyds TSB Registrars) and Xafinity and has also participated in a number of other investments including Cardsave, Monext, Tertio, Cybercity, MACH, and Dan Net. James has an MA in geography from Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He is a former oarsman and represented England in 1986.
