Mike Parish

Care UK

Mike was appointed Chief Executive of Care UK in 2001 following a successful career with Exel PLC, then a FTSE 100 supply chain solutions provider. 

Mike joined Exel’s forerunner, NFC (National Freight Consortium) as a graduate management trainee in 1982, just as it was being de-nationalised. During his career with Exel, Mike worked in a range of industry sectors and was responsible for activities across Europe, the Americas and Africa, culminating in a PLC director role.

Care UK is a provider of both health and social care services, working in close partnership with public sector commissioners. Care UK is a quality led organisation and can demonstrate sector leading service outcomes and customer satisfaction. Care UK is the largest independent sector provider of health care services to the NHS.

Mike previously chaired the NHS Partners Network, the industry representative body, and is a non-executive director and a trustee of the NHS Confederation.
