Simon Cope-Thompson

Livingstone Partners

After graduating from Manchester University, Simon qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in London, before moving into their Corporate Finance team. Since joining Livingstone Partners in 1994, Simon has led over 85 deals across a variety of sectors, acting for owner managers, corporate and private equity houses.

Within the Consumer space, Simon has completed deals across the pub and restaurant, gaming, travel, retail and family entertainment sectors.  His most recent deals include the acquisition of the 63 strong Agora Adult Gaming Centre operator for Marwyn Gaming and the sale of The Bread Factory, the UK’s leading wholesale artisan bakery business, together with critically acclaimed Gail’s retail bakery and café to management and Risk Capital. Other PE backed deals completed by Simon in the sector include Education and Adventure Travel, Geronimo Pubs, Maximuscle and Mayfair Gaming.
